Workshop objectives

• To identify and define priority issues and requirements for research and capacity building.
• To advise on the overall governance and mode of operation of the research, and to finalize and initiate a strategy for resource mobilization. This includes consolidating the necessary research partnership and finalizing the framework for water, land agricultural research and capacity building.
• Serve as venue to consolidate the necessary research, capacity building and policy partners.
